Here is an opportunity you should not miss.
On four Sundays in April we have opportunity to be taught by 4 theologians as they join us following our celebrations at at Platform60.
Surely the most important books in the whole of the Bible are those four gospels. They are the ones that bring a spotlight on Jesus. They reveal how he lived, died and rose again. Yet they each do so in unique ways. The writers of the gospels seem to view aspects of Jesus’ ministry differently from each other. Whilst one focuses on a seemingly vital episode – another gospel writer will ignore it totally.
As emerging Christian leaders in whatever field we have to be able to handle the bible as best we can. To grasp Jesus more fully we ought to grasp the gospels more fully. So we have invited four people to teach us “How to read the Gospels”.
We will provide drinks and biscuits so do feel free to bring your own pack-up if needed.
