Alpha is coming for the residents of Barnetby, Kirmington and Melton Ross.

Alpha is a series of film-based sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each film looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome!

The films are designed to engage and inspire conversation and are around 20-30 minutes long.   This particular course will be delivered over seven weeks, and we will explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith?, Why and how do I pray?, How does God guide us? … and more!

Each week we’ll begin by sharing drinks & cake followed by an Alpha film and then, probably the most important part of any Alpha, we’ll have the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it around tables. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment. These discussions will be taking place upstairs in the Lounge at Barney’s.
